The Kasuga Hotspring where Kasuga-no-Mori is located boasts over 300 years of history and has long been a place people come for hot spring therapy.
The hotspring itself is a mild alkaline spring perfect for experiencing the medicinal benefits of the water. The water is loved by visitors as "a beautifying spring" with exceptional benefits including the prevention and improvement of skin ailments.
